…winter officially arrives on June 1 (although the recent cold snap makes it seem like it’s already here!).
June 6 – Foundation Day (WA)
June 13 – Queen’s Birthday (NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, TAS)
June 22 – Winter Solstice (Southern Hemisphere)
The Queen’s Birthday weekend is usually taken as the start of the skiing season…
…and remember June 30 is the end of the “Financial Year” (so plenty of opportunities for tax-saving type promotions).
