Just received the February edition of Pete Godfrey’s “Emotional Ad Writing & Marketing Letter”.
In the “Marketing Savvy Department” Pete makes this observation…
“To build a solid relationship with your customers you need to stay in contact on a regular basis.”
Now, of course, you need a reason to contact your clients, otherwise…
…you’re likely to find they become “former clients” very quickly!
And scheduling a calendar of promotions around holidays and other special events gives you the perfect reason to contact your clients.
There’s another benefit as well.
When you tie in your promotion to the event in an appropriate fashion, you’re using the Robert Collier copywriting principle and tapping into the conversation that’s already going on in the mind of your client.
