Now, I wasn’t going to post about this, because it’s not something that’s directly related to the theme of this blog…
…namely direct response marketing and copywriting.
However, when I saw this headline…
“Apollo XI: The Untold Story”
…well, I had the perfect “excuse” to post something!
Why? Because this is a great example of how to create renewed interest in a subject that people have heard about before and that they think they know everything about.
But wait! There’s the “Untold Story”!
Who could resist that?
It’s a variation on our trusty copywriting standby…”Secrets”.
So keep this idea in mind if you ever have to breathe new life into something…
…plus, of course, remember that news items like this can often provide a great reason for a promotion if there’s a plausible link with your product or service.
