There’s something of a lack of official holidays in June, so the fallback is to use seasonal or other themes…

And that means that it will depend on whether you’re based in the northern or southern hemisphere as to what’s appropriate.

Here in Australia, winter is drawing nigh and the first day of winter is officially June 1.

We also have the traditional start of the ski season on the Queen’s Birthday weekend (Monday June 8 is the holiday) and the winter solstice on June 21.

In the northern hemisphere, switch summer for winter.

Back to Australia and June 30 is the end of the financial year which gives plenty of opportunities for promotions.

Keep in mind events linked specifically to your industry. For example this month (May) it’s “Chiropractic Care Week” from May 21-27 as my own chiropractor astutely reminded me in an email today (and, of course, they have a promotion)!
