How Almost Any Copywriter Can Instantly Double Their Reading Speed

By Kevin Francis | July 16, 2008

As a copywriter, I read an enormous amount of material.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say that’s the case for most copywriters (and many business people as well).

Now, I have looked into ways to increase the speed at which I read.  I’ve got books about speed reading (even “Speed Learning”).  I love Tony Buzan’s material.  I’ve even considered “Photo Reading”.

Because being able to read faster would be a huge benefit.  The time savings would be enormous.  And as a copywriter time really is money.

But for whatever reason, I’ve never done anything about it.

You may be in the same position.

Now, I’ve discovered how virtually anyone can easily double their reading speed instantly!

It’s a fantastic program called “Rapid Reader”.

It works by displaying text on your screen a word at a time very rapidly. It’s like watching a movie.

According to the folks at “Rapid Reader” the average reading speed on paper is 150 words per minute.  On screen it’s slower, at 100 wpm.

I’ve just bought the program and gone through the quickstart tutorial and I found it easy to read at 300 wpm.  They even take you up to 500 wpm which I found OK, if a little challenging.  It does take a little practice to get used to the higher rates.

But interestingly, after experiencing 500 wpm, 300 wpm seemed almost slow!

And that 300 wpm is double the speed at which most people read.  I’m pretty confident I’ll be up to higher speeds very quickly.

Now, if you already are a rapid reader, this may not be of much interest.  But for most copywriters this will be a great resource and time saver.

The price?  An absurdly low $49.95 - and that’s for the “Pro” version.  There are slightly cheaper versions available. In any case, there’s a free 30 day trial.

Well worth you checking out this amazing program “Rapid Reader”.
