It’s timeless advice that anyone familiar with John’s teaching will recognise but it bears repeating.

In a nutshell…

…cut down on adjectives (with some exceptions, after all, there’s one particular adjective that is a major part of one of John’s signature headlines!) and use lot’s of “action verbs”.

Read the whole thing.

P.S. Initial impressions of Ben Settle’s “Copywriting Grab Bag” are positive. Not really for beginners but if you have some experience it’s choc full of great tips and insights. I’ll have a fuller review in a few days.

P.P.S. With all the hoplah over Google’s new “Chrome” browser, thought I’d check it out. It’s supposed to be faster than other browsers but I tend to use Apple’s “Safari” and so far can’t say I’ve seen any advantage. Better than IE, though. I’ll test drive “Chrome” some more and share my thoughts.
